Flesje thuis gedeeld met familie. Donkerbruin helder bier met weinig schuim. Aroma is chocolade-achtig en fruitig. Smaak is alsof je een chocoladereep eet. Weinig nasmaak.

This beer is dark, no head. It has a sour smell, the taste is sweet with a hint of chocolate.

Bottle shared with Dutchdrebus and Ansjelaah @ Broken Benzai tasting. Hazy red color, small off-white head. Aroma clearly has chocolate and malts with a touch of red fruits. Tastes about the same: some malts, chocolate and red berries. Medium body, a bit dry finish, medium carbonation.

Bottle @ Broken Benzai tasting. Slightly hazy light brown colour with a small off-white head. Smells chocolate, sweet, roasty, decent. Tastes sour, red fruits, chocolate, nesquik. Medium body, slightly fizzy carbo. Funny taste.. The sourness and chocolate is a nice combination. A bit less sour would be nice though.

Bouteille 33cl, gusher. No BB date. Belle balance.

Light gushing to medium, thick cream-coloured head, bit irregular, over veiled red-brown beer. Dry, herbal nose with - definitely - chocolate, but also roasted malts; parsley. Very spicy (clove, pepper, cinnamon, chili) and serious hints at black Belgian chocolates. Bitterish-roasted on sweet base. Quite fizzy carbonation, titillating, medium bodied, bit slick. Dry, chocolatey aftertaste. Original, unnerving - but not bad.

15/VIII/2012 - 33cl bottle @ Internationaal Streekbierenfestival (Zwevegem) - BB: n/a - (2012-823)

Clear purple brown beer, some small sediment floating around under a small aery yellowish head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: lots of chocolate, they got that right! Some vanilla and caramel, but mainly a lot of chocolate. MF: too much carbon, medium body. taste: quite some dark chocolate, bit of citrus, some caramel, mocha, hops. Aftertaste: pretty hoppy, some citrus, bit grassy, chocolate, little sweet but not cloying.
