On tap at Siboire, pours a hazy golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of fruity esters and bubblegum upfront. Thankfully, the flavour isn't too estery or sweet, with Belgian yeast, floral notes and a touch of candied sugar. Not exactly authentic, but much better than many North American tripels. Not a bad attempt.

Tap at the brewpub: Poured a clear yellow color ale with a nice white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of candi sugar with light fruity notes is quiet nice. Taste is a mix of candi sugar notes with cereal and fruity ester with light spicy yeast undertones. Body is about average for style with good carbonation and some alcohol was perceptible. Well done overall if maybe for the fact that alcohol could be better integrated.

(23 janvier 2013)

No head left, pale copper-golden beer. Oxydation, lactic, sweet-sour. Sweet-sourish, oxydation, lactic. Well, nose and taste are alike, and I’ve run out of qualifications. Lame, tired, slight alcoholwarming backthroat. Obviously badly kept sample, needs to be retried.
