On tap @Mission, 5.6%. I incorrectly ordered a half pint during happy hour when it was basically a buck more for a whole. Dark, unfiltered apple juice pour. Not super active. Classic clove & overripe banana nose, maybe some box juice. Deep & juicy pear, this is quite fruity. Strong clove, itchy wheat, light toast on that. Lower then expected yeasty feel. Super crispy. American wheat. Good.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a cloudy orange with small white head that lasts. The aroma is clove, wheat, banana, yeast. Medium body, clove, banana, wheat, bubblegum, light finish, decent.

Bottle. Lemon, orange, banana, clove, and wheat malt aroma. Hazy golden yellow with moderate head. Sweet-tart lemon-banana, clove, and wheat malt flavor. Light body. Okay.

big clovey, bananay beer. The mouth is light lots of bananas and cloves. Creamy. Enjoyable but never takes me to the next level

[2/21/15] Draught at Winter Brew Fest 2015 in San Diego. Cloudy golden. aroma of fruity esters and a clove note. Sweetish fruity flavor with mild spiciness. Easy-drinking.

Location: 12 oz bottle from State Line, 2/9/15
Aroma: The nose is citrus, yeast, and wheat, but with something slightly off
Appearance: An orange colored beer with a quick dissipating off-white head and mild, drippy lace
Flavor: Flavor-wise, this one has a saison yeast, spice, wheat, and some sweet malts
Palate: The body is light, with a lively-to-fizzy carbonation, and a mildly dry finish
Overall Impression: This wasn't my favorite of the style, but it worked decently. I've certainly had many many better hefes. There is too much carbonation here. It is on the poorer side of the examples of this particular style.

Keg at the taproom in SD, 12/11/14. Hazed golden orange topped with a moderate off white swirl. Nose is yeasty, vanilla, light banana, clove, straw. Taste comprises banana, light spice, straw, vanilla, pear drop. pretty harsh and bitter. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Not great, rather astringent and bitter.

A hazed golden weizen with a thin white head. In aroma, light sweet fruity malt with banana and light citrus. In mouth, a sweet fruity malt with light citrus, light Brett, almost veering on Gueuze... Old bottle from potsdam NY, 2 years old... Past date but interesting results.

Refrigerated 12 oz. brown bottle poured into a glass. Pours hazy deep golden with very small white head. Aroma is banana, medium body, well carbonated, and very little lacing. Taste is banana and grainy. Below average for me.
