Bottle (vom Jonas!): Pale golden, hazy, visible carbonation, small white foamy layer, sweet fruity nose of elder-berries and apple juice; sweet flavour with a light acidity; increasing citrussy and elder-berry aromas in the sweet finish. Tastes more like a lemonade than abeer, but still it is an interesting cider-beer hybrid.....

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, pale golden colour with a non-persistent frothy white head. Dusty and wheaty nose with fruity notes of apples and elderberries, accompanied by a shy grainy touch. Sweet and slightly sour flavour, light bodied with a lively carbonation. Mainly apple-fruity taste with a moderate wheat-character and notes of citrus; sweet and slightly sour-tart finish. Interesting hybrid brew. 26.X.11

Despite Jonas’ dire warning, my bottle even refused to gush... lol. Good, quite white head over fully clouded pale yellow beer. Straw, apples, cider, and a tad of spiced lemon. Meaty ester, as gelatined stock; dry, sourish apples, fruity with again a citrus streak. Very spritzy, near overcarbonated. Light, but long-lasting acidity in the aftertaste. All in all, more like a soft drink than a beer. But way better than most Belgian equivalents. Thanks, Jonas!

Bottle. Bottle wass quite a gusher, had half the volume left in the end. Cloudy yellow, low white head. Tart apple, light leathery, wood and elderflower aroma. Lightish body, sparkly mouthfeel. Fruity aromatics, citric and eldeflower perfume, malty notes - a hint wort, grassy hops. Quite refreshing and pleasant in the end.
