Draught@Moeder Lambic Fontainas, Brussels. Amber colour with a mediumsized foamy white head, that leaves good lace. Aroma is fruits, some caramel, alcohol and mild yeasty spices. Flavour is floral and fruity with some yeasty and sweet malty tones. Has a slight tart edge to it as well.

Bottle from Moeder Lambic, Fontainas
Beautiful amber color; medium sized creamy head. Caramel aroma with some malt and vegetables. Lean body, with caramel flavor, on the dry side in the beginning, sweetness appears later; there is a light touch of vegetables, unwanted; salty. Correct bitterness; some alcohol warmth in the final. Rather boring.

Draft @ Moeder Lambic Fontainas.

From tap at Moeder Lambic. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is slight apple fruity. Sweet, light fruity and slight caramelish. Mild yeasty note. Lingering fruity and smooth, light caramelish.

Draught@Moeder Lambic Fontainas
Clear amber color, big cloudy off-white head. Aroma has citrus, perfume, caramel and alcohol. Quite light body for this ABV. Pale malty alcoholic with hoppyness. Also kind of sour. Lingering tart hoppyness. A bit empty and uninspiring.

(Draught at Moeder Lambic Fontainas) The beer poured reddish brown and a little bit hazy. Its head was quite large, long lasting and white. Aroma had yeastiness and caramell. Palate was quite light bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were yeast, spiciness, hops, malts, mild sourness and medium bitterness. Aftertaste was bitter. The biggest flaw with this beer was that most of its flavours disappeared almost instantly - all that remained was the almost acrid bitterness.

Draught Very faintly veiled orange beer under an immovable dense off-white head. Milkchocolate, ureum and human sweat, summer grain, meaty esters. And a fruity element, faintly reminiscent of bricked orange & bananajuice. Almonds, dry malts, coloured malts without sweetness. Taste as eating dry, lightly coloured malted grains. Medium bodied, very faint alcoholwarming. Utterly different from the other J-J beers, but not for the worse. The first malty J-J.
