Draught ZBF: Poured a ruby red with a light reddish pink head. Aroma is whiskey, cherries, and wood. Taste is nice bitter cherry with a underlining whiskey. Leaves the mouth warm and fruity.

Draught Small pinkish head over very hazy red beer with a foxy sheen. Wood, brown candi sugar, something sweetish and indeed some fruit (tongue-in-cheek). Extremely dry onset, followed by surprisingly sweet but much less fruity flavour. Fruit, pulpy, arrives in the finish. There’s definitely whisky, alcohol, retronasal and then some. Very full-bodied, fruit-filled, slick, alcoholwarming. The W is definitely the best Hofcuvée, but this kind of cask needs even more fruit. Add 25-30% more fruit, and it’s world-class.
