’Vorselaars streekbier’ with very thick, creamy, yellowish white head and hazy dark ruby red colour. Aroma of chocolate, liquorice, plums, banana, dried figs, kahlua, caramel, some red cabbage (DMS). Sweet sourish taste with some iron and minerals, quite strong carbo, supple caramelly and nutty malt backbone, roasted bitterness in the finish, a bit harsh and resinous but nevertheless satisfying.

Very cloudy red amber beer, lots of residu floating around. Aery off-white to beige head, pretty stable, non adhesive. Aroma: very sweet syrupy, dark candi sugar, caramel, dried orange peel, milk chocolate, bit spicy. MF: soft carbon, light to medium body. Taste: a little sweet at first, quickly countered by some fruity tartness, green apples, touch of tobacco. Aftertaste: roasted malts, some mocha and that same tartness again, little bitter in the end with tobacco. Original and pretty good beer!

Small beige head over red-brown, clear beer. Toasted, even toffee nose, but fleeting, going into a pretty neutral ending. Near stout-like sourness, roasted & burnt grains. Sweet, but nowhere syrupy let alone cloying - nice! Very nice, interesting beer, less dark than it tastes, if you catch my drift.
