Till 2005 brewed as Grain D'Orge Septante 5 Blonde.
True to its original recipe, the La Septante 5 blonde is the result of rigorous selection of raw materials: caramel and roasted malts, fine hops, water of exceptional purity. As for her ambrée, dense and tasty replica, she will delight the amateurs.

From old tasting notes. Brilliant yellow gold color with a huge foamy white head. Lots of small bubbles.nvinous sour malt aroma. Tart and dry hop flavor in foretaste. Good dry hop character throughout. Pleasingly long and subtle hoppy finish. Tasty.

Cork and Caged 75cl bottle, just out of date when opened on 21st April 2017. Shared with my wife and son on a random tasting session at home. Golden blonde pour, white head. Malty led nose with a slight yeasty undertone, taste similar with mild citrusy leaning in the finish. Had worse beers from these guys.

Bottle, 7.5%. Weak peppery aroma. Clear dark golden colour. Good malty flavour, slightly sweet with a little spicy yeast. Good alcohol finish, also giving the beer a good mouthfeel. Clean.

Orangey-gold beer; small head, some lace. Very neutral nose, some vegetables, and a bit of pickles. Caramel, lots of it, keeps on the malts in taste. Nearly medium bodied, quite carbonated. Plain, if well-crafted beer.
