11/XII/16 - 33cl bottle from a beer festival, somewhere in Flanders @ my parents' place - BB: 14/XI/2003 (2016-1463)

Clear orange beer, practically no head except for some big bubbles. Aroma: pretty oxidized, sweet, ripe banana, bit malty, grains, some caramel, peaches, candy. MF: soft to almost no carbon at all, medium body. Taste: pretty sweet, peach flavoured candy, sugary, little spicy, some nutmeg, dusty, soft oxidation flavours. Aftertaste: more peach candy, sweet, oxidized, little metallic, soft acidity. Has aged beautifully!

Slightly aged sample Little white rim; darker amber beer with mossy shine. Very syrupy at first, bit oxydized, and fruity nose, as sweet white portwine. Sweet, very fruity; oxydation is perfectly included in the berries’ flavour. I would expect some wheat, but that isn’t supposed to have been used. Bit syrupy, slick MF - this is the only minus point. Oily texture, medium bodied. Nice fruitbeer - more people ought to ask this from De Proef.
