Bottled@Quinns, London (backlog). Hazy orangeish golden colour, small white head. Aroma is tropical fruits, toffee, some sweet malts and mild yeasty notes. Flavour is yeasty, caramelly, toffeeish, mild gluelike sweet notes as well as some herbal notes.

On tap at Kent BF 07. Cloudy orange/copper colour with off white head. Decent brown sugar rich aroma. Rather a nice yeasty, fruity flavour in mouth. Bit syrupy on the malts. Moderate fresh grapefruit hop finish. Rather good and very different to the UK beers I had.

Draught. Very malty aroma, bonbon. Cloudy, dark copper colour, almost no head. Very malty flavour, almost making me think that it is oxidized or at least quite old. Fruity maltiness and long, malty aftertaste. Well done to put so much malt in a 5% beer.

Draught
Hazy light nut brown, small brownish head. Lemony flowery hoppy nose. Light, flowery hoppy, easy to drink.

Draught Faintly hazy orange; little or no head. Sweet, faint spicey-peppery nose. Dull grainy taste, just a bit of citrus but not refreshing. Sticky MF, and a bit empty to boot. Uninteresting amber ale. Nothing wrong, nothing uplifting. Which makes it fit the bill of Proefbrouwerij admirably, where it is probably brewed.
