Small glass draught at Mikkeller Bar Viktoriagade. Amber coloured body with a slight haze. Diminishing pearl white head. Decent lacing. Rich smell of brown malts and dried fruits. Mixed taste profile of raisin, caramel, and a backdrop of tart fruit. Drying ending with a twist of the tart fruit. Refreshing (Copenhagen 01.05.2015).

A little more boring than the others but not as bad as the sauternes version. Watery finish here. Orange pour with some hay. Ok head and lacing. Tap at Max’s.

Mikkeller & Friends. Keg. Light haze on this deep amber beer, small off white head. Palate is mildly crisp. Light dry wood. Mild orangey wine sweetness that it well integrated with the dry wood but doesn’t dominate it as it perhaps should. Dry crisp finish. Refreshing.

Enjoyed on tap at Mikkeller & Friends in Copenhagen, DK. Appearance is a dark ruby brown with a rich frothy head that nicely laces to the glass. Aroma is a nice mixture of wild yeast, light sour, cherries, stinky cheese, and light barrel. Taste is really nice, barrel comes out a bit more, light sour notes, wild yeast is doing wonders on this head cold I have, very enjoyable, champagne like. Good one for sure.
