Tap from Mikkeller, Bangkok. Poured a hazy medium amber with a thin whispy white head. The aroma is resin hop, vinous. The flavour is moderate bitter light sour with a light vinous, oak light hop bitter palate. Mediun to light bodies witn soft carbonation. Not as good as the others in the series.

big Brett nose with just a touch of Chardonnay and oak. The mouth is malty, not as dry and hoppy as I like, but decent. Finishes with lots of oak and a touch of Brett. Decent but could have been drier

Definitely better than the Sauternes version, but not better than the Grand Marnier. Light hay, orange pour some bitter finish. Hint of hops and citrus. Tap at Max’s.

Draught at Mikkeller Bar, Viktoriagade
Beautiful red-amber color, hazy, with creamy head. The aroma is fruity and vinous, some sour cherries. Dry but with reasonable body strength; the malt flavor is forgettable, it may have some yeast character, it also has some harsh wood feeling, that doesn’t blend well with the bitterness and the mild acidity from the barrel.
Overall, it doesn’t have evident good qualities, instead it has some unpleasant traits.

On tap at Beer Temple. Slightly hazy orange colour, off-white head. Aroma of Brett funk, soft sweet red wine, oak, vanilla, wood. Flavour is medium-sweet, light malty, Bretty funk, light salty, sweet oak, vanilla, red wine, wood, bitter finish, light floral. Medium-bodied. Of the 4 barrel treatments, this was the best, with the barrel showing the most of it’s character.
