Draft at Falling Rock. Clear deep yellow with a white head. Aroma of toasted grain, biscuit, lemon with a hint of grass. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture and lively carbonation. Clean, crisp. Just enough bitterness in the finish to balance the sweet, toasted grain on the front end. A mild beer for sure and not as flavorful as a Noble Pils, but a nice drinker.

I took a scenic drive through the foothills today, and decided to stop off in Golden for lunch - this beer was served at a local pub, and I was told it was a Coors product, which I guess it pretty much is - served in a Barmen pils glass - first of all, the beer was beautiful - clear gold, effervescent carbonation, thick, frothy, lasting head, that billowed up out of the glass - grassy noble hops in the nose, with notes of toasted grains, mild malt sweetness, light minerals - very clean and refreshing - mild bready character, but otherwise clean and crisp - some spicy noble hops on the back end - a hint of lemon - this is definitely a german pils, not a bohemian one, but I guess I’m splitting hairs - why can’t Coors make more stuff like this?

Tap at Ship Tavern in the Brown Palace. (I am assuming this is same beer). Clear yellow pour. Hop, bitter and very crisp. Certainly my favorite product that Coors puts out.

(draught from lagertank)Gold colour. Thick white-yellow head, good lace. Nice hoppy smell + cookies in the best balance. Taste are cookies + hops (Saaz!) but the hops are gone after a few sips, except shortly retronasal. Slightly burnt cookie taste, rather medium bodied. Not really Czech style, but more than worth a try.
