(Bottle 33 cl) Oooh, mustard beers - ain’t that just a grand invention? Blond, slightly hazy with a huge head and a high carbonation. To be honest, I do not sense any mustard here. This is just anothe blond ale - although a decent one. 300901

A hazy light yellow beer with a huge white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of coriander and fruit - especially lemon. The flavor is sweet spicy with coriander standing out, combined with notes of roasted malt and caramel. The end is dry and hoppy.

Bottle. Yellow and cloudy. Big white head. Aroma is yeasty and sweet like a normal blonde. Taste is also quite close to a normal blonde, sweet, malty and peppery. The only difference I seem to taste is a slight burn at the back of the throat as an aftertaste.

Pale gold. Thick white collapsing head. Nose: chalk. Vaguely spicey too. A whiff of Tiger-balsam ("Vicks'"). Taste is spicey again, dry. Logically, not like mustard, but like the ground mustardseed powder, unmistakable. Some coriandre and galanga-root (Laos). Medium bodied, dry. Bitter aftertaste, spicey, pleasing. A nice beer - nothing outstanding, but worth the try. The mustardseed blends in very well.
