Privyet, which means ʻhiʼ or ʻheyʼ, is the base beer for our award-winning, bourbon barrel-aged Dosvidanya®. Even though this beer isnʼt aged in oak barrels, it greets you with a color as dark as night, a thick, tan head & predominant characters of dark chocolate and roasted malts with abundant fruity esters. Generous hop additions balance the maltiness of this beer, along with a mouthfeel that is rich, creamy, full and smooth. Ypa!

Sampled from a can this beer poured thick, black and oily with a small foamy dark brown head that lingered and left decent lacing. The aroma was intense with strong floral hops, anise, vanilla, cola, and a rough boozy note. The flavor was intense chocolate, vanilla, marshmallow, coffee and red wine. Incredibly long finish. Amazingly thick and creamy.

Dark brown colour, good brownish head. Aroma has dark bread, alcohol, soya sauce, milkyness. Full-bodied. Roasted, metallic, molasses sweetness, coffee, dark bread, soya sauce and heavy load of alcohol. Also hoppy bitterness so although somewhat sweet it is a RIS not modern pastry sillyness. A bit too boozy and bready for my liking.

Can shared with Dutchdrebus. Opaque black color, small off-wh head. Smell and taste malts, roasted malts, thick syrupy, good roasty malt flavor, a bit sweet molasses. Thick syrupy texture, average to decent carbonation. Good. 8-4-8-4-15

355ml can. Jet black colour with late awakening, average, thick, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, beige to tan head. Roasty, spicy, chocolately, dark malty aroma, notes of dark chocolate, liquorice, a fruity touch of blueberry and plum butter, lingonberry, overtones of peppermint. Taste is sweet-ish and slightly bitter, roasty and chocolately dark malty, slightly fruity, minimally spicy and alcoholic, notes of dark chocolate, blueberry, some liquorice, plum butter, lingonberry, honey; minimally warming, alcoholic finish. Oily to viscous texture, smooth and soft, minimally sticky palate, soft carbonation. Not the most complex Impy Stout, quite drinkable for its high abv.

Can. A- Mocha, tobacco, roasty, molasses, balanced. A- Black color, black liquid, brown head. T- Tobacco, licorice, roasty, chocolate, char, molasses. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- Really smooth. Drinks too easily and had a nice balance of flavors. Some chocolate that has a lingering black licorice flavor with just a touch of burnt tobacco and char. Almost on par with their Dosvidanya.

Can - labeled as 11.4% abv- deep black, fails to produce a head - nose of smoke, espresso, cocoa - oily texture - quite sweet, but with cutting acidity and moderate roasty bitterness to cut it - espresso, chocolate, blueberry, burnt sugar - some fusel alcohol taste makes it a bit less enjoyable - overall, though, pretty good.
