You know the rules, Karen. Don’t talk to me until I’ve had my coffee beer. This velvety smooth porter is brewed in partnership with our good friends at Vigilante Coffee Co., making it the perfect brunch compliment to home fries, short stacks, and yelling at birds that keep trying to steal your toast.

Pours a black colour and a beige head. Aroma's of coffee, roasted and sweetish. Retronasal it's full on roasted coffee. Flavour is light sweet and a little coffee-sourish. Light bodied. Short finish.

Month old bottle A: Oily black pour with a short tan head that faded quickly to a ring. S: Bitter coffee grounds and sweet chocolate. T: Mildly bitter and tart at first with chocolate sweetness following. Fruity and dry bread notes to finish. I get more coffee from the nose. M: Surprising amount of carbonation gives a light feel. Mildly sticky finish. O: Very nice. Not too strong or thick. Drinkable. A likely repeat purchase.
