Bottle. Light amber body with a frothy off-white head. Aroma of citrus, coriander, spice, orange peel, grapefruit, basement. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Sticky finish and a little hot. Tartness/bitterness lingers. Interesting combination of flavors and overall clean.

Sample at Bad Parenting Club (plus a few dirty aunt/uncles?!): NC Beer Edition on 03/28/2015. The beer is a clear dark orange color with a medium off-white head that recedes steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of pine, floral hops and malt. Medium body with flavors of resiny hops, caramel malt and a bit of herbal yeast. The finish is moderately bitter with piney hops aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

22 oz bottle poured into a tulip. Bottled 2/10/2014. Hazy copper with 3 fingers of off-white head. Aromas of biscuit, citrus, toasty and nutty notes. Tastes of citrus, biscuit, toast, floral notes, caramel, light spice, some yeast. Medium body with a dry and slightly bitter finish.

22 oz. bottle from Dunn4040. Pours a nice bronze, with a big, foamy, beige head. Big citrusy and resinous aromas, with some biscuity dough, apricots, and some yeasty, banana esters. The flavor is a strong, yet mellow, bitterness, with a nice malt and ester sweetness. Heavy body, sticky, and syrupy. Overall, this is a nice, well-balanced, and well hopped BIPA. The fruity esters don’t kill the IPA, and the ludicrous hops don’t kill the nice Belgian yeast.

Bottle split at Bruce’s pad, thanks to Paulo, 27/03/14. Hazed orange amber with a moderate off white covering. Nose is juicy hops, pine resin, bitter orange, caramel malt, pineapple chunks. Taste comprises bitter orange pithdom, pine bite, sweet lickings, candied orange peel, straw, earthy hops. Medium + body, fine carbonation, light booze laced tropicana in the finale. Decent DIPA if a touch overly boozey.

bottle shared in London - many thanks to Paul. Pours clear, orange-gold with a frothy, white head. Rich citrus aroma, some pine, grapefruit, dry bread. Medium to big sweet flavor with bitter pine, wood, alcohol, melon, bubblegum, ripe orange. Full bodied with fine to average carbonation. Moderately resinous on the finish, some booze, pine, grass. Nice one.
