Between Cigar City Brewing’s home in Tampa and 3 Sons Brewing Co.’s Dania Beach brewery lies Alligator Alley, an 80-mile strectch of the I-75 that boasts more gators than gas stations. Repeated trips across this reptilian thoroughfare have resulted in Across The Alley, a Bourbon Barrel-aged Imperial Stout with Chocolate, Vanilla and Coffee.

Bottle shared at Lucky Bamboo share. Pours a deep brown to black with a small beige head that dissipates. Big dark roasted malt nose with molasses, tobacco and vanilla bean aromas. Some caramel on the palate with vanilla and bourbon...lots of oak as it warms. Cacao nib abound with a lingering tobacco and vanilla notes. Rich, decadent and full bodied on the palate with lingering bourbon and chocolate on the finish.
