Between Cigar City Brewing’s home in Tampa and 3 Sons Brewing Co.’s Dania Beach brewery lies Alligator Alley, an 80-mile strectch of the I-75 that boasts more gators than gas stations. Repeated trips across this reptilian thoroughfare have resulted in Across The Alley, a Bourbon Barrel-aged Imperial Stout with Chocolate, Vanilla and Coffee.

750mL bottle, pours black with a small beige head. Aroma is divine, with intense bourbon barrels upfront, followed by vanilla and chocolate, and a subtle hint of coffee. Flavour is unbelievably decadent, with complex bourbon barrels, vanilla, and chocolate. There are some layers of dark fruits in there. Complex and layered. What an elegant beer.

ABV: 14.3%. Clear dark black colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, cocoa, dark malt, sweet malt, coffee - bourbon - chocolate - vanilla - barrel. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, roasted, chocolate, cocoa, sweet malt, vanilla, boozy, coffee - bourbon - chocolate - vanilla - barrel. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming. [20191026]

Massive bottle shared at De Samenscholing, courtesy of Kermis. Big thanks 🙏!! Black with creamy medium tan head. A dark cloud of bourbon 🥃 fills the room. Big sweet deep roasted chocolate malts, thick chocolate, soft deep hazelnut, toasted coconut, dark roast coffee, liquorice, loads of bourbon. Massive sweet and deep bitter. Quite boozy. Full body and soft carbonation.

Bottle shared thanks to kermis. Black with small brown head. Lots of chocolate, bourbon, licorice, brandy, there’s some coffee and vanilla but not too strong, sugary malts, blackberries. Quite sweet and medium bitter. Thick full bodied with boozy finish. Strong and boozy but nice!

Pours black, small tanned head. Smell is full, roasty sweet, mild coffee. Taste
