Rowers Red Ale is a celebration of malts that has a fruity and aromatic finish. Pouring to a ruby red colour, we use a generous blend of sweet malts to give Rowers its distinctive toffee nose. The hops used, balance the sweetness with lingering moderately bitter fruit flavours.

From the bottle. Reddish with a frothy, off white head. Aroma is tea, rather herbal. Taste is bittersweet, a touch tangy, with a mildly bitter herbal finish. Body is light to medium. Interesting.

Bottle at Erzbierschof Monday Club. Pours hazy reddish amber. Lots of butter and sweaty sock over burnt bread. Not my cup of... Beer. Body works better, light and rather on the bitter side. Also watery, though. Oh well, not a beer that you have to try.
