Bottle from Tesco. Golden-amber with a very thin head. Identifiably pale ale with a dry texture and a hint of fruitiness, but mostly flavourless - however easy in the palate with a happiness.

Bottle. A clear one, mostly, dark golden in color and topped by a small, dense, whte head. The aroma is caramelish with a decent fruityness and some grass. It’s medium bodied and soft on the palate, semi-sweet and with a nice carbonation level. Canned apricots, caramel, a generic fruityness and some grass in the flavor. A quite harsh bitterness lasting for a while. Not sure about this one, it’s nice, but also rather boring. Wouldn’t shy away from drinking a few though. 140815

Bottle at home, from ABM, well blow me its Golden Blonde rating #500. IPA’s have battled against Golden Blondes as my top rated style for some time now. I have a feeling I have enough IPA’s in my backlog to get back in front and a trip to CA next month should but some distance between the two ... I digress, 07/03/14. Golden amber with a thin off white covering that retains as a swirl and edgework. Nose is papery, butterscotch, citric pangs, diacetyl. Taste comprises orchard fruits, light citric, bready notes, less buttery. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, crisp and refreshing - the best aspect of this beer. Overall pretty meh - APA they say !!?? I don’t think old Pro Green behested enough on this bugger! E I E I E I O down the fucking sink you go !

Bottle at worldbeertaste’s temporary leaving The Hague tasting. Supplied by Cotteridge Wines. Poured a hazy light amber. The aroma is light citrus, malt. The flavour is medium to strong bitter with a smooth malt hop bitter light resin palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. It grew on me after a while.
