Tap at the brewery. Bit hazy deep amber. Cloves, nutmeg, lots of Christmas spices, caramel, pain d’épices, bitter grassy notes. Medium bodied.

Pours hazy brown from the bottle. Aroma is full of clove & Christmas spices. Taste is mildly bitter and finishes with a light spice. Body is light to medium, carbonation is soft. Overall, pleasant but not a lot of depth.

Bottle at MC Zurich. Pours cloudy brown. Aroma is metallic, Christmas spices, cinnamon. Body is rather light, still spicy, with a pleasant sweetness and hotness. Crisp carbonation, killing flavours. Dry carbonated palate. Not bad, but a bit boring.

Thanks to ThirstyBird for sharing! Cloudy in the glass, fruity nose. The beer starts fruity, smooth, fresh. Orange and spices. The aftertaste is mild, fresh, orange with spices and nearly no bitterness. Nice!

Looks and smells like a Belgian brune, hints of prune and molasses. Sweet, but flavor is on the light side, not much palate either in taste or mouthfeel, No hint at the 6% ABV either. Easy to drink, not heavy, but not memorable either.

nondescript amber. Estery fruity, but not exciting . Didn’t even know it was a herb/spiced beer.

(bottle) Foggy and murky amber colour with loads of ugly floaties and a short and tanned foamy head. Slightly sweet and delicately sour-fruity aroma with notes of gingerbread, cinnamon and other x-mas spices. Sweet-bitter flavour, medium to light body, calm on carbon. Mildly toasted malty taste with notes of caramel, gingerbread, cinnamon and other spices; mildly sweet and balanced bitter finish, again with Christmas-spicy notes. Okay. 10.X.12

Bottle from Quack-Duck, dekuji. Hazy brown color with large creamy white head. Cinnamon, clove, yeast, apples in aroma. Taste, caramel malt, cinnamon, clove, liquorice, raisins with light bitterness in background. Dry, aromatic, bitter finish. Oncle Hansi knows, how to brew good Christmas beer.

bottle, thank you jaghana! Hazy brown colour, large and very creamy off-white head. Spicy nose, cinnamon. Intensive malty flavours with lots of christmasy spices like cinnamon, coriander, clove. Not too sweet, though. Some aromatic hops blend in in the lingering finish. Good one.
