Many of you know this collaborative DDH DIPA between Cellarmaker, Other Half and Trillium Brewing that we brewed for the first time back in 2017. It features Galaxy, Citra, Nelson and Centennial hops at 7 lbs per barrel and is ripe with dank passion fruit, tangerine and ganja aromas and a whip crack of terpene flavors.

Can pour from Valley Beverage (this version w/o Enigma). Opaque dark yellow with decent head, fair retention and no lacing. Aroma is citrus, white grape, musty herb and late hint of pine. Taste is strong musty fruit, less distinguishable than the aroma. Smooth, somewhat thin body/texture, no sign of alcohol, soft carbonation and slightly pasty finish. Decent but, given the lineage, this seemed like it would be an All Star. With no date, hard to know if age may have contributed.

Can. Murky golden beer with a cream head. Grapefruit and tropical fruit aroma. Tropical fruit and orange flavor with grapefruit. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Grapefruit and tropical fruit linger with oranges and a big yeast bite.

Bottle in NYC - courtesy of Will via Sander. Pours hazy yellow-gold with a frothy, pure white head. Rounded and juicy aroma, tangerine, papaya, grapefruit, dank pine. Medium sweet flavour th nips of ripe lemon, pale bread, low bitterness, a little pine, melon. Medium to full bodied yet still delicate, with massaging carbonation. Nicely balanced finish, more rounded citrus fruits, almost no alcohol, melon, papaya, mango. I am informed that this beer was more intense previously, but as it is now it is quite great.

Poured from a 22 oz bottle. Aroma is fairly hop forward with lots of tropical fruit and citrus. Some light melon and dank notes. Medium to medium light cracker malt notes with hints of wheat. Hints of the alcohol. Pours a very hazy, murky, pale golden straw color with a medium sized, fairly thick and pillowy, white head that recedes slowly but steadily to the edges where it hangs around. Moderate lacing and small legs. Flavor has a light to medium light sweetness with some cracker malt and wheat notes. Medium high to high bitterness. Some light alcohol spice in the finish. Moderately strong hop notes with tropical fruit and citrus being most prevalent followed by stone fruit and melon. Some light dank and resinous notes. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a nice very hop forward IPA with that typical hazy, malt profile that is all the rage these days. I will say there is something in the beer that is causing me to get a bit flush, whether it is one of the hops or the something from the yeast, I don’t know.

Tap into a half nonic pint glass showing hazy opaque light orange yellow with half a finger of quickly dissipating clean white foam. The nose shows a lot of juicy fresh mango, guava, and peaches. The palate is highly carbonated and medium bodied with a lot of prickly alcohol spice throughout. Light flavors of petrol, guava, and durian with a NE style malty sweetness in the middle. Slightly more juicy upon warming up but the spicy alcohol throughout is just way too overwhelming.

On tap at Cellarmaker. It pours a hazy pale yellow color with a white head. The aroma has intense citrus juice, lime, passionfruit and a little pineapple. The flavor is soft and creamy with low bitterness. Good soft pineapple passionfruit notes. Very easy to drink, especially considering the gravity. Masterfully done for the style.

Draft at Cellarmaker. The beer is a tan orange yellow color with a creamy white head. Some lacing. Huge sweet pineapple in the aroma. Some nice tangerine pith, a little grassy peppery spice. Very nice hop action. Taste has mild bitterness, quite mild really. Lots of fruity hop flavor comes through. Could kinda use a little more bitterness for more juice depth. I like it a lot. Soft and light feel. Easy to drink. No alcohol to be found. Excellent work

Tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy pale yellow. Aroma is superpowered tropical fruits, mango, orange, lots and lots of zest. Body is strong, extremely zesty, fruity and chewy. Laid back carbonation again. Palate lingers on the fruits without turning super sweet. Very good!
