What are terpenes? They're the aromatic compounds that give hops—and their sticky cousin, cannabis—their signature dankness. Terpene Station lives up to its name with a heady, electric blend of Galaxy, Mosaic, Citra, Centennial, and Nelson hops.Expect pungent waves of citrus zest, tropical funk, and resin-drenched pine layered over mouth-coating bitterness and crystal-clear West Coast intensity. It’s bold, loud, and unmistakably dank. Jerry would be thrilled.

16 oz can poured, picked up at Special Brews. Still stoked to have these guys show up in my local. Bright and shiny, clean golden appearance with two fingers of loose foam. A west coast double with all headliner hops. There's just no way this wasn't going to be incredible. Packs a stone fruit punch ip front. Has a nice biscuit malt background that remains throughout. Slick front but ultimately ends on a crisp and more bitter note. Hope are impressionable, but less than aggressive. Absolutely delicious double IPA here. Total standout for my recent memory.

Poured from a 16 oz can dated August 09, 2020. Aroma is fairly hop forward with quite a bit of passion fruit, mango, tropical citrus, orange and dank, resin notes. Light cracker malt notes and a bit of alcohol. Pours a fairly clear, gold color with a medium sized, thick, frothy, white head that recedes to a small film that lingers on the edges. Light lacing and small legs. Flavor is slightly sweet with medium cracker malt notes. Fairly strong bitterness with light alcohol spice. Quite a bit of hop character with lots of passion fruit, mango, tropical citrus, grapefruit and dank, resin notes. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a pretty nice west coast IPA. Lots of dank, resinous hop notes with a solid malt profile and bitterness.

The beer is a darkened yellow. Quite cloudy. White head with lots of lacing. Pretty good retention for a dipa. The aroma is full of fruity hops. Big on stone fruit, grape, melon and tropical fruit. Mango, grapes, melon, pineapple, peach. Mild pale malt sweetness. Moderate bitterness in the taste. There’s some malt sweetness but it’s kept well in check. Lots of sweet hop fruitiness. Fairly light body. Lightly creamy feel with some hop oil slickness. Very good. Edit 2/16/2017 - The beer is a medium yellow. Somewhat hazy. Small white head. Super pungent hop aroma, big fruit flavors, almost over ripe sweetness. Big honey-ish malt sweetness. Fairly bitter. Medium to light body with some slickness. Pretty big onion hop flavor. Onion, pear, orange, pineapple, kiwi. Pale malt with simple sweetness. Well made but not my favorite hop flavors.

On tap at Caps & Taps. It pours a golden yellow color with a white head. The aroma has kiwi, grass, coconut, melon, citrus and dank. Crazy aromatics here. The flavor is the same. Very dry with a light crackery malt base. Grass, coconut, kiwi and mango with underlying dextrinous sweetness. More coconut and spicy/grassy dank in the finish. Medium bitterness. This is awesome. Cellarmaker at their best.
