This dark amber lager captivates with its slightly sweet, caramel flavor, and resonates with nuances of red fruits; these are counterpoised by a pleasant bitterness in the aftertaste. Together, all of these elements produce a delightfully unique flavor.

Das Bier hat eine klare kupferbraune Farbe und eine mittelgroße leicht beige Schaumkrone. Geruch dezent röstmalzig, süß, Karamell. Geschmack sehr röstmalzig, viel Karamell, Malzbonbons, gering schokoladig.

0,50 bottle purchased at the Beerville shop in Belgrade-Serbia. Ciao Vlada! Pours a reddish brown, clear with a medium-big ivory foamy head which stays long. Nose: initially very metallic (!), then it goes toasted bread, mocha and a bit of caramel. Meh! Mouth: far too watery for a dark one, an overall bitter (herbal) feel, dry closure, some toasted malts. Not that refreshing, neither complex although not the worst dunkel.

500 ml bottle. Clear, deep amber body with medium sized, lacing beige head. Aroma is moderate roasted caramel malt, toast/bread. Flavor is mild roasted but strong flavored caramel malt, some dry fruit, toast, quite sweet and not much bitterness. Fine balanced body and pleasant, sweet aftertaste. Nice one.

Tap at the brewery. From old notes. Sweet, rich malt flavors, chocolate and caramel. Not overly sweet. Well done dunkel.

Bottle. Notes of dark bread, syrup, banana, caramel and sugar. Not that drinkable.

Bottle 0.5l at Pikkulintu, Helsinki. BBE 05032014. Colour is clear dark orange with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Dark fruits, raisins, nuts, hints of sweetness and roasted malts. Very fruity for a dunkel and definitely better than average dunkel.

Head: beige, medium, frothy, avg. retention. Colour: brown (dark amber), clear.

Aroma: toffee, caramel, slightly roasted. Taste: caramel, quite a bit of hops for a dunkel.
