250 ml bottle. 12%. Pours black with short foamy tan head. Aromas of licorice, molasses, dark chocolate, and slick roasted malts. Flavors of chocolate nougat, vanilla, molasses and oily roasted malts. Served in a 250 ml bottle which is a great choice for the ABV. Near perfection.

Dark bread and coffee on the nose. Medium-light body, oldschool roasty, a bit boozy but smooth. Black coffee, some burnt wood, chocolate. Very traditional, very nice. Thanks Johan N.

Sampled at Borefts 2019. Black with big creamy tan head. Honey, sweet roasted malts, coffee, cocoa, earthy, light alcohol, flowery, strong chocolate. Quite sweet but also balancing bitter. Full bodied and quite creamy. Good!

Fun to try the base for a change, but also pity not to have the outside tap queue. The beer is great! Extremely thick, little bit of sweetness, heavy bitterness, roasty coffee. An exceptionally balanced, very traditional example.

Still young, still raw, still tasty and ready to age in to something beautiful!
