This one is pretty nice. Didn’t know what to expect from ’Rosebud’. Colour is kinda boring, not ugly. Smell is great, taste could use a bit more of the smell. Mouthfeel is above average good for me.

Smallish yellow head over copperish golden beer. Caramel, toasted malts and fresh herbs. Caramel, yeasty-meaty touches. Flowery, warming up, and more toast. Bit sticky, more carbonated than it looks. Not bad, but not enough character." Rosebud" - and so many USA hops giving rosewater aromas...

Bottle at GBBF 2009. Bought this on the strength of Joes recommendation, so thanks Joris. Hazy gold, decent yeasty hoppy aroma. It’s alright. A kinda sweetish fruity pale ale. Tasty, easy drinking, rather good. Yeasty fruity beer than rather won my heart over.

(Draught at Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 3 Aug 2009) Pale amber colour with frothy, beige head. Fruity, malty nose with citrus, mandarin, grass and hints of resiny hops. Fruity, malty taste with notes of citrus (mandarin, orange), citrus peel, grainy malt and a generous citrussy, resinous bitterness in the finish. Slightly above medium body, fairly sweet. Great balance. Lovely beer with a fresh hop character.
