Bottle. Pours clear golden. Aroma is butter, cake icing, herbs. Body is medium, strongly bitter and not much else. Lively carbonation, and with the carbonation they kill everything else. Okay.

On tap at the source in Beijing-China. Clear dark golden pour with a medium and persistent white foam. Nose: pretty parfumy aroma, firm resinous and malty overall. Mouth: frizzy carbonation, grassy and chicory mouthfeel, rich malty body, the finish is predominately bitter.

Draft - Caramel backbone and citrus. Clear gold with a decent white head. Bitter, citrus and some caramel. A bit old school.

Vom Faß im Jing A, Peking.

On tap at Big Smoke. Flying fist ipa 6.5% IBU 60 A deep copper orange gold which is what I want from an ipa. Citrus, lemon and pine hop bouquet screams classic ipa. Medium to full bodied with a raspy carbonation and semi-dry finish. The taste is pine and citrus with enough of a malt backbone to support it. A really nice beer to compliment the excellent food. A solid classic style.

Very pale, slightly hazy golden color. Frothy white head. Huge hoppy nose of citrus, grapefruit, savingon blanc. Wonderful. Big tropical fruit salad jumps across the palate. light body, but like other beers, lacks bitterness. Slight sweet. Dry undistinguished finish. Could use more bitterness, but still enjoyable.

Keg at Jing A Taproom, Beijing. Cloudy pale amber, small head. Concentrated aroma of lychee and mango. Mid sweet with solid body and rounded mouthfeel. Intense on aromatic hops - tropical fruits, grapefruit and tangerine. Balanced bitter finish.
