(fresh bottle, 37.5cl, bb 01/10) Hazy, almost black coloured hue with a big and beige foamy head. Sourish fruity aroma of red berries. Sour flavour, perhaps medium bodied with a lively carbonation. Heavily sour fruity taste, which is most probably not intended by the brewer with the imagination of toasted malt et cetera; sour and tart finish. Unconvincing and disappointing; poured the most of the bottle away. 22.XI.09

Bottled at the brewpub. Clear mahogany colour, rich airy head. Tart cranberry aroma. Sweetish with perfume and asphalt as well as syrup. Is this lemony tartness really desired? Quite roasty, alcohol is hidden in syrupy tartness. Quite amateurish beer, despite the fancy bottle.

Bottled. A murky dark brown beer with a huge brown head. The aroma is acidic malty with notes of roasted malt. The flavor is very acidic lending it notes of lemon - infected.

Bottle, 7.8%, bought at the brewpub. Fruity, roasted aroma, already reminding me of beers chuck full of black malt and soy. Muddy black colour, no head. The flavour is fruity and yeasty. Has a little sweet, caramelly liquorice note. Medium bitterness. Slightly vinous or perhaps just citric finish. Disappointing.

(Bottle 75 cl) Courtesy of yespr. Hazy dark brown with a lively and frothy shaving foam style beige head leaving some lacework. Very sour aroma. Medium body with a hint of roasted malts and then an extreme sourness. Another terribly infected bottle beer from Braustelle. Calls for a re-rate. They obviously have a bottling problem. 280408

75 cL bottle, trade with Koelschtrinker. Pours dark brown with a huge brown head. Light acidic and orange fruity aroma. So far so good, mediocre aroma and a very nice looking pour...but: Flavour is solid acidic infected. Ends the same way. Absolutely undrinkable! I guess bottling at Braustelle isn’t that well functioning.

Bottle. [Courtesy of Koelschtrinker] Unclear medium brown black color with a large, frothy - creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, hay, coffee, light to moderate hoppy, grass. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Very nice DB ;o)) (211207)
