Chinook, ein Indianerstamm im Nordwesten der USA. Chinook heisst aber auch der Hopfen, der unserem Bier seinen charakteristischem Geschmack verleiht.
Bei 6,7 Prozent Alkohol könnte man sagen, es ist ein IPA. Weil dafür aber Indianer und nicht Inder Pate standen, haben wir es RED INDIAN ALE getauft.

Bottle 330ml. shared @ BAF 2017 [ Borefts After Festival: BAF! ] @ Brouwerij Kaapse, Veerlaan 19-D, Rotterdam, Netherlands 3072 AN. [ As Kraftbierwerkstatt Chinook ].Clear medium amber colour with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, bread, sweet malt, caramel, light floral - herbal hops. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet malt, bread, light herbal - floral. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20170924] 5-3-5-3-10

Sehr malzig in der Nase. Im Trunk Karamell, süßlich, sehr süffig, Malzbier. Hinten feinbitter. Etwas arg gefällig, sehr untypisches IPA.

Appearance: Orange golden, clear, fizzy. Nice, creamy, off-white head.
Aroma: Medium fruits, light hops. Light sweetness.
Taste: Nice, clean hops, light fruits, pretty sweet. Lacks some bitterness, though.

Sampled from bottle, shared @ BAF 2017. Hazy amber/red color. White-ish head. Aroma's: red fruit, cardboard. Retronasal it's full on cardboard. Flavor is moderate sweet, caramel. Light bodied.

Thanks to Kermis! 330 ml. bottle sampled @ BAF 2017. Amber orange. Nose is dull oily stale orange. Low sweet, stale oily, oily weak pine. Stale, oily. Weak stuff.

33cl bottle. Pours clear and golden ornge with a small white head. Aroma is mild herbal hoppy, toasted malt. Sweet. Toasted malt. Slight caramelish. Toasted and slight breadish. Caramelish and toasted finish.

Bottle shared thanks to kermis. Almost clear amber with off white head. Cardboard, caramel, some weird herbs and wet weeds, dry veggies. Medium sweet, bitter and bodied. Not good.

5 3 5 3 10 Bottle shared at Borefts After Festival, Kaapse '17. Clear amber with a white head. Aroma of malt, caramel, butterscotch and cardboard. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

bottle from Heinrichs 3000. Orange amber colour, mid-sized white head. Full-bodied, intensive malty base delivering and supporting piney, resiny and very fruity hops.
