A hazed golden Weisse with a thin white head. In aroma, nice fruity malt with loads of lemony and buttery notes, Epsom salts, tropical fruit, kiwi, mango, very nice. In mouth, a nice tart mix of lemon pulp and sweet tropical fruits, mango and papaya, very nice and complex. Bottle from Cheese and Wine Trader.

There’s a very distinctive aroma of ruby grapefruit together with lemon, some dirty socks and a bit more lemon. It’s very tart but mellows off nicely in the back of the throat and leaves a warm lemony aftertaste to keep you warm on a winter night, oddly enough for a Berliner Weisse

Fra flaske på årets siste Mi2, Cardinal des-16: klar lys gylden med fint skum. Deilig og frisk syrlighet, meget lett å drikke. Mild bitterhet i ettersmaken (mest syrlighet).

Shared bottel at Mi2 at Cardinal 19.12.16. Clear pale golden. White head. Sour aroma of sulphur, machines and burnt rubber. Similar taste - even more acid. Very dry and astringent mouthfeel.

Bottle, courtesy of Minuteman in EuroSwap 04/16, many thanks! Pours very pale yellow with a medium head. Aroma is light hay, citric fruits. Body is very light, crisp, lightly tart, a tad sour. Not lactic, though. Refreshing.

Bottle from Brewcraft at home. Hazy light straw yellow pour thin fine white head. Aroma is sharp citrus tart and bitter. Taste follows - quite refreshing dry lemon tartness. But not too tart. Finish is clean and lemony. Fine carbonation and not too bubbly. Really good Berliner weisse.

On tap at Brother’s Beer. Aroma is clean tart lemon. Flavour is like a big mix bowl of citrus fruit. Lemon, tangerine, orange and grapefruit can all be picked out. Quite floral too. I like it.
