Manhattan from one side, Brooklyn on the other and farther North we can see Williamsburg; the Big Apple is connected by two majestic bridges. These districts are so close but so different. The combination of an ancient European style with the wise use of an American hop: Cascade; it makes of Amberground a great easy drinking beer. It’s suitable for sophisticated tastes but it’s also perfect for boozing up with friends. On the nose it gives off floral notes, on the tasting the sweetness of malts is balanced by a light scent of ripe citrus. Closing is full body in typical East Coast American Amber Lager style.

Old review from Feb 2017 - A 330ml bottle brought at De Cervesia beer shop in Lucca. It pours a hazy amber colour with a white foamy head. Aromas are of fruit, marmalade, grapefruit & sweet malt. Tastes follows the aroma with addition of caramel. The body is medium with medium to light carbonation. Aftertaste has a medium fruity bitter finish.

Bottiglia.

From 33cl bottle. Pours hazy and amber, with very abundant white foam, rather irregular. Aroma is malty and fruity. Body is light and lightly carbonated. Taste is sweet initially, with some final bitterness. Finish is average.

Amber, moderately hazy, average white head, stable, low lacing. Aroma shows fresh grass, citric notes and caramel malts; not bold but softly refreshing. Taste has soft bread and caramel malts, citric notes and a grassy/piney finish and aftertaste. Slightly on the bitter side but not intensely so. Light to medium body with low crispness, smooth but a bit too thin. not bad, but totally unsignificant.
