With Elliot, we tried to create a refreshing beer that’s dangerously drinkable while still maintaining that unxious mouthfeel that Struise is so renowned for. Being able to either quaffed or sipped, this is one of our most versatile multi-purpose beers.

HUge poury nice hazy amber color, big thick head, sticky lacing, and a huge aroma of hops. Sharp pungent hops. This beer to me tatses like a mix of a VERY hoppy tripel, and a double ipa. Along with the huge amount of hops, there is quite a bit of malt to balance, and it adds a smooth caramel flavour. The alcohol is there in the finish, and its quite prominent with the intense bitterness. An interesting beer, a nice sipper.

Backlog August 2011. Dark golden body under a big off-white head. Aroma of malt, caramel, brown sugar and warming alcohol. Taste is sweet malt, caramel, brown sugar, balanced bitterness and warming alcohol. Nice.

A big thanks to HenrikB, for providing me with this bottle. Flowers, grapefruit and ginger in the aroma. Oily hopbitter flavor with grapefruit, pineapple and red berries, but also a malty sweetness that makes this beer well balanced. Hardly a sign of alcohol. Excellent!

2010 vintage, at kulminator. Pours dark amber with whiteish head. Aroma is sweet, malty, grainy. Flavor is sweet and bitter, grains, malt, sugar, caramel. Alcohol is well covered. Overall: great brew.
