Sampled from tap at Borefts 2018. Pitch black with a beige head. Sweetish-malty, slightly roasty aroma of nougat, hazelnut, vanilla and some coffee. Very sweet, malty, gently roasty taste of nougat, coffee, hazelnut, vanilla and maybe hints of bourbon, followed by a medium long, medium roasty-bitter, slightly earthy finish. Full body, smooth and creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very nice, very subtle barrel-aging.

Clear dark brown to black beer, no head. Aroma: very malty, good roast, alcohol, coffee, dark chocolate, some soy sauce. MF: lively carbon, medium body. Taste: very oxidized, sourish, more roast, sweet touch. Aftertaste: bit sourish, funky, weird... infected probably... I don’t remember this as a particular sour beer.

Clear dark brown beer, creamy beige to brown head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: malty, some caramel, vanilla, roasted, grains, cow fodder. MF: soft carbon, medium to full body. Taste: bit sweet, sugary, vanilla, some chocolate, soft acidity. Aftertaste: alcohol, ripe banana and banana peel, more alcohol, soft roast, a bit spicy.
