Seriously potent bitterness with a series of pungent and resinous aromas. A Dry beer with a slight resinous licorice backbone to it. You got to drink this beer on a full moon night on a West Coast beach (an Italian one will surely do as well).

10/9/11/11/12/12

Dry, hoppy nose. Citrus zest and pith, light caramel. Cloudy orange-brown with a tall, fine head. Sweet, fruity flavor, light chocolate and caramel. Huge hops—grapefruit, grass, earth. Very bitter finish. Thick and full body. Good.

Bottle at the Craft Clerkenwell. Thanks again to Frederic and Tom for their generousity. Very hazy amber beer, small off white head. Palate starts smooth but has a carbonated bite. Sweetish orange and mango hops with a trace of tinned tropical fruit syrup. Minerals. Smooth creamy malt underneath. Finishes with nibbly carbonation. Nice sweet IPA.

Bottle from Alex420 - thanks! Shared with the local RB crew and staff at Birreria Paradiso Georgetown, as well as ChurchKey. The aroma of coconut, pineapple, suntan lotion (in a good way!) was very popular. People found the taste to be bitter and plain. One noted a bit of sourness.

Bottle courtesy of rlgk. Pours slightly hazy golden with a frothy white head that slowly dissipates while leaving some trace and lacing on the glass. Smell is tiny sweet, fruity and hoppy with crackers, green peas, lemon zest, lemon grass, white bread, grapefruit juice, persimmon, gooseberries, freshly cut grass and hints of alcohol. Taste is tiny sweet and very bitter with grapefruit rinds, white bread, gooseberries, cape gooseberries, freshly cut grass, pine needles, green peas and hints of grapefruit rinds. Mouthfeel is slightly round, slightly astringent and light to medium bodied. Finish is bitter with lemon balm, grapefruit rinds, fresh garlic, pine needles, lemon peal and hints of alcohol. Bit unbalanced...

33cl Bottle from the man himself, cheers Alex! Hazy golden amber colour, white head. Aroma of grapefruit, weed, citrus, pine, resin, really in-your-face hops. Flavour is light sweet, lots of bitter citrus fruits, grapefruit, pine, light floral malts, a little caramel, crisp malts, firm bitterness in the citrus and resin hoppy finish. Light-bodied. Nice thirstquencher.

16/09/2012 on tap @Brasserie 4:20 (Rome). Ambrata, abbastanza limpida, schiuma bianca leggera, molto persistente. Corpo medio, carbonatazione corretta. Birra stupefacente, di grande equilibrio, bevuta freschissima.
