Bottled at Pressklubben, Stockholm. Mahogany colour, small head. Chalky astingent lingonberry aroma. Sweetish, medium-full bodied. Syrupy with a tartness. Plenty of chalk. Slight medicinal bitterness. Not good.

Bottle @ home, shared with Dutchdrebus. A nice deep red glow comes through the dark brown colored body of the beer. Creamy light brown head. Smell slightly roasty, lightly sweet. Taste lightly roasty, slightly sweet. Decent beer. Ok body, ok carbo.

On tap at Beer Revolution. Some chocolate and roast follow through on the aroma with a funk on the end - like a normal Belgian yeast turned bad. Clear deep red, unusual coloring for a stout. Khaki head leaves quickly but does cling to side. Slight flavors of chocolate and sweet malt. Alcohol is masked. Some coffee late in the palate.

Sampled from a 750 ml brown bottle this beer poured a dark brown color with a large foamy tan head that lingered and left great lacing. The aroma was malty with a cola presence. The flavor was bitter, tart, a bit acidic and lightly malty with undertones of cola and toast. The finish was long, tangy, butter and had lingering cola. Medium body. Ok.

Bottle at a bar in Helsinki. Pours Dark brown with small tan head. Aroma is roasted malts, chocolate and dark fruits. Flavour is sweet and fruity with chocolate and caramel. Body is a little thin And everything is a little muted, however the high alcohol is masked quite well. Not a great stout, but drinkable. Rated offline 2011/04/27

Huge beige head. Deep brown body with vigourous carbonation. Floral peppery licorice aroma with herbal notes. Sweet-dryish burnt licorice taste with mealy notes. Light body. Mild, hottish mouthfeel. Dry chocolate and licorice aftertaste with peppery burnt buttery notes. Nice and unusual, but not very drinkable. (0.33l bottle, De Heeren van Liederkercke, Belgium.)
