Bottle. Hoppy aroma and taste, belgian yeast notes, light citrus fruit, medium bitter. Medium body, malty hoppy bitter finish with sweet notes. Ok.

APA made by l'Ermitage for a music project called Bruxelles Ma Belle, tasted from tap at Ermitage's premises in Anderlecht. Creamy and thick, dense, plastery lacing, stable, snow white head on a misty apricot blonde beer. Aroma of green onions, yellow grapefruit, unripe melon, frying oil, fresh shallot, marijuana, dough, lychee, orange flesh. Fruity, sweetish onset hinting at mango, lychee and green banana with a touch of carambola, lively carbonation adding minerally effects (quite strongly so even), soft doughy malt sweetish body soaked in oniony and citrus peel-like, grapefruity hoppiness, lightly peppery and powdery with a moderate tropical fruit character; very crisp and utterly quenching finish. Very pleasant, modern hazy type of APA, with the oniony character of the Simcoe showing very well; has the exact right bitterness for an APA and adds a New England-influenced 'tropicalness' without going over the hop. Very well done by this brewery, once again.

Bouteille 33cl, BB 01/07/2019. De Malt Attacks. Dorée, col blanc. Arôme offre un bouquet fort plaisant, houblonné, fruité rappelant un léger pin et des notes d'agrumes, malt léger en rétro-nasal. Palais est léger, malt pils, houblonné fin tirant sur les agrumes, note de pamplemousse, petite pointe sèche rappelant la sciure - boisé, feuilles séchées, citronnelle et léger pin et autres agrumes. Un vrai 'thirst quencher' et une autre belle réussite de Ermitage.

07/12/2018 - draught sample shared with rubin77 @Ermitage taproom. Cloudy yellow, small head. Nose is lots of fruity hops. Taste is malts, fruity hops, soft bitter ending. Nice refresher.

Süßlich hopfiger, herb-würziger Beginn. Frischer Hopfen, weiche milde Bitterkeit. Geringe Karbonisierung, mittellanger Abgang. 10/10/11/11//11

Keg at source. A teanslucent golden yellow coloured pour with a sticky white head. Aroma is lemon rind, floral, mango, peach. Flavour is composed of bready Base malts, peach and mango, wheat grains, earthy bitterness. Palate is semi sweet, grains, numbing hop oils, highish carbonation. Good.

F: big, off-white, not long lasting. C: pale gold blonde, hazy. A: citrus, tropical fruits, orange, tangerine, passion fruits. T: malty, citrus, grapefruits, tangerine, fresh tropical fruits, passion fruits, medium body and carbonation, really nice one, enjoyed, tasting sample shared with Bierridder_S @ Nanobrasserie de l'Ermitage Taproom in Brussels.
