Dark golden to light orange, moderately hazy; gets pretty murky when pouring the final inches. A not too big per style but pretty dense white head; very stable, also leaves nice lacing. Average intensity in the aroma: notes of honey and chamomille, fruity notes of peach and candied orange among a soft feeling half yeasty, half sirupy base; maybe a hint of spiciness. Very nice. Taste notes as per aroma. There's a a bit of grassy hoppiness to bring balance from the sweetness, but also an unclean, earthy/muddy finish/aftertaste that gets stronger with every sip and tends to cover the other flavours. Still very much on the sweet side overall, but not cloyingly so. Medium or slightly below medium bodied, with average to high soft carbonation. Feels soft and quite full for the low abv. Very traditional, very belgian, would be great if more polished.

Draught @ Grand Delancey, Manhattan (4/26/23). Clear golden with a large spongy white head, honey-malt aroma, low carbonation, bitter malty taste with grain flavor, thin body, long bitter finish. Good brew.

Ljust gyllengul lätt disig vätska med ett fingertjockt skumlock. Tydligt gräsig arom och bakomdet finns ljust bröd och deg och en lät örtig avslutning. Gräsig örtig i smaken med lätta toner av honungssötma. Beskan är lätt höig men ren. Värmande törstsläckare perfekt som en avslutning i solen efter gräsklippning.

Flaska. Knäckebröd, honung, togerbalsam, nyslaget gräs och bittra örter. Smakar som ett old school medicinskåp. Gott, möjligen bara en gnutta för sött.

Lys brun tåkete med beige skum. Lukter belgisk gjær, smør og søt karamell. Middels fylde. Maltig, lett bitter. Smaker lett bitter barnål, smør, blomster og noe hvete. Middels lang.

Bottle. Poured slightly hazy golden orange with a frothy white head. Hoppy, floral, caramel, fruity, yeasty aroma. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness and body. Soft carbonation. Bitter finish. Quite likeable.
