0.3 l bottle from ’AH’ (Groesbeek), best before September 2017. Clear, golden amber with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, malty, slightly floral and quite yeasty-spicy aroma of honey, caramel and lots of clove. Quite sweet, malty and rather yeasty-spicy taste of clove, honey, vanilla, some caramel and hints of banana, followed by a short, moderately bitter, quite yeasty-spicy finish. Medium body, slightly creamy and moderately effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Drinkable, but more a Belgian Blond than a Bock, overall disappointing.

Clear pale ambercolour, small stable frothy white head, bit lacing, Aroma pale malt, bread, touch of citrus, dough presence, bit toasted, grassy hops. Mild bitter and sweet taste, bit roasty. Medium body, creamy texture, average carbonation. Sweetbitter finish with the bitterness dominating, very nice.

On tap at Eetcafe ’T Voske, Berg En Terblijt, South Limburg, Netherlands, Wednesday 29th June 2016, after a huge salad Nicoise, Loz had a Goats cheese which was even bigger than mine. Mid amber with a white head. A little honey, with a little burnt edge, malty and with some depth. I rather like this, a jolly decent effort. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov13 3.4
