This premium hand~crafted ale is a unique brew of three malts and three Tasmanian hops added late to the kettle plus an original 125 year old, top fermenting ale yeast, creating an easy~drinking, deep copper~coloured ale with distinct richness, creamy head, and a slightly nutty finish.

Beautiful amber color; huge thick head. Some aroma of caramel and chocolate. Very thin mouthfeel, light taste (some dry, metallic caramel); medium-low bitterness. Too weak.

Clear orange color, short off-white head. Aroma of hop, some caramel and amber malt. Bit sweet taste, some caramel. Bitter palate. Quite ok.

(Bottle 34,5 cl) Dark, amber colour. Filtered. Huge, frothy, beige head. Dry, nutty aroma with some malt-sweetness and a discreet bitterness from no less than three different Tasmanian hops. Very nice amber ale. Thanks to Pia for bringing me this from Sydney. 240205

Bright deep amber coloured body with a frothy, albeit fast-dying off-white head. Aroma of nuts, toasted malt, caramelised sugars and a slight touch of fresh hops. Medium-bodied; Malty throughout the mouthful, with some of the nuts and sugars leaking through. Aftertaste showcases that bitter nut flavour more than anything else with a distinct malty taste near the tail end. Overall, a good amber (not my favourite style) and very welcome, compared with most of the other aussies. I sampled this from a 12 ounce bottle in Sydney, Australia.

Bottled. Amber coloured with rich, creamy head. Light bobied, malt sweet and clean with rather low bitterness. A plain, very drinkable ale.
