6.69
ABV: 4.2% IBU: 30 Ticks: 30
Ingredients: Pale ale, CaraPils malts; Equinox, Citra hops; Wyeast 1056 yeast; water.

For this brew were inspired by two totally different brewing traditions. German kettle souring, known from production of Leipzig Gose or Berliner Weisse and American hopping rates and juicy hops.
Hopped with Citra and Equinox it definitelly has some nice papaya / passion fruit character. These exotic flavours are paired to lactic fermentation. Strange but very drinkable combo. Like a liquid summer trapped in a glass.

330ml bottle. Clear, yellow-ish golden colour with average to huge, frothy, mostly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Minimally strawy, wheaty, grainy, lactic, Berliner Weisse-like aroma with integrated citrusy, grassy and piney, minimally soapy hop flavours. Taste is tart-ish, grainy, grassy, strawy, minimally sweet caramel malty, adulterated citrusy, grassy and piney hints of hop. Not my cup of tea.

Bottle at the Kiselo Druženje (Sour Gettogether), 2017. Thanks! Golden, off-white head. Moderately hoppy, fruity, citrusy, very nice acidic profile. Wonderful fruity and malty flavours in the back. Light body, soft to moderate carbonation, light finish. Actually very nice.

Cloudy yellow, airy white head. Aroma has lemon and fruity yoghurt. Malty, citric flavour. Lactic, yoghurty notes. Dry and tart with a little citrus peel bitterness. Unusual for an APA...

Bottle at home. A bit hazy light golden with huge off white head, very hard to pour since it's just foam coming out of the bottle... It has green melon, lychee, sour pears, lemon, quite some herbs, lime peel, soft herbs. All kinds of 'green', both fruits and herbs, with light malts and minerals underneath and some grapefruit as well. Medium sour in a very refreshing way, with a light but lingering bitterness. Under medoium bodied with a lot of carbonation. This is pretty good, if they'd fix the carbonation I'd like it more but it's a pleasant beer.
