Pours clear amber with a frothy off-white head. Visual carbonation on the glass. Aroma is caramel malts, bread and soft metallic. Taste is bready and malty. Long sweet finish. Not a great beer, but it´s only 0,60 €, so good value though.
Next one please!

Super malty, peach, caramel. Lingering sweetness with subtle bitterness. Not too bad. But definitely not a Pale Lager.

This is an old recipe from Bilbao (1912) that has been retrieved and relaunched by Damm (Barcelona) in 2017. Tasted it from a 33 cl bottle at Ruta 77, Madrid, served in a wine glass. Pours cloudy amberish golden with a thick, persistent, off-white head. Aroma is mainly honey (quite nice) surrounded by scents of porridge, toast and iron filings. Mouthfeel is sweetish, nice carb at first. Mouth-covering, metallic and quite bitterish at the end, when it proves to be rather long-lasting. Not bad.
