Huvila Pale Ale is clear amber coloured beer with an aroma that brings aromatic hops, caramel and grass to mind. The American hops that we have used in its production give the citrusy and hoppy taste as well as a long bitter after taste. Refreshing with an air of sophistication!

0.5l bottle. This is a light blurry golden colored one and it has a small really bubbly quickly islandy white top. It has a really unique aroma. Hard to describe, but it smells really artificial and sweet. A bit like old detergent and lots of sweet wood syrup. Strange, not sure in I'm loving it. Thank god it does not taste like that at all. More like a English bitter then a pale ale with some drops of thin apple soup. The carbonation level is about average and it has a somewhat thin mouthfeel. Lots if bitter hops here, a bit of burned wood, flower water and minerals. Not to inviting, memorable or exciting, but fairly drinkable. 08.07.2013

4.2% bottle at Pudel, a clean modern looking place with good prices, a nice bottle list but few taps. A beautiful orange-gold pour with a slight head. Pine, citrus, herbal aroma. The taste is sweet, floral hops which is followed by a crisp bitter piney finish. A nice pale ale which is slightly I. The bitter side whichajes it a nice change of pace from beers in this part of the world.

Bottle from Supermarket near Holiday Inn, Helsinki. Murky orange pour with a restrained off white head. Nose of citrus and hay. Hop driven flavour with some graininess and a dry bitter finish. All pretty subdued and slightly thin stuff, but certainly drinkable.
