Coffee/vanilla porter. The guys at Devil’s Peak took a look at our Cafe Racer recipe, and decided to rev it up with a little African style.
Rammed with rich Kenyan espresso and Bourbon vanilla from Madagascar, this brew is as black as the ace of spades in the Devil’s Peak logo.

Can at home from Sterk, Amsterdam. Black with a thick and bubbly beige head. Aroma of vanilla, coffee, toffee and fudge. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter. Above medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Can. Black, no head. Vanilla and chocolate aplenty on nose. Milky mouthfeel. A party of sweet, delightful flavours. The coffee is at the nutty end, so avoids the wet grounds trap. Actually tastes boozier than it is. I'm a big fan and will seek out some to cellar.

Tap at Kufle i Kapsle in Warsaw-Poland. Black pour with a tan brownish foam. Nose: a tripode of vanilla and hazelnuts. Kinda Nutella. Mouth: carbonation stays a bit over the top imo, sweet vanilla, nuts.

0,33l can at home courtesy of Sander, big thanks. BB 18.04.2019. black color, small coffee colored head. smells of coffee, cinnamon, vanilla, hazelnuts, spices, earthy. nice smell. full body, soft carboantion, slick mouthfeel. tastes of coffee, cinnamon, spices, strong vanilla, hazelnuts, peppery, some maple. finishes lightly sweet with notes of maple, sweet coffee and cinnamon notes. quite good one, nice flavours, not the greatest balance but quite drinkable.

Tried at the Fierce Bar Aberdeen. Thick black colour with a tan head. Full coffee aroma hints of vanilla and a touch of berry fruit. Full on coffee taste. Rich body.
