Coffee/vanilla porter. The guys at Devil’s Peak took a look at our Cafe Racer recipe, and decided to rev it up with a little African style.
Rammed with rich Kenyan espresso and Bourbon vanilla from Madagascar, this brew is as black as the ace of spades in the Devil’s Peak logo.

33cl can. Pretty much black pour. Light off white head. Vanilla, chocolate, sweetness, caramel and malts. Long vanilla finish, chocolate dessert, some licorice. Solid stout.

Can. Black pour. Aroma of sweet coffee, vanilla, mocha, chocolate and caramel. Taste has sweet earthy vanilla, chocolate, coffee, mocha, caramel and some licorice. Nice one.

Can from Boxbeers. 8.5 %. No mention of any collaboration on the can. Black with a brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, coffee and vanilla. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. Oily. 070718

Bottle at home 30th June 18. Pours black, light in body. Aroma is coffee, expresso, cocoa. Taste is coffee, cocoa, slight bitter some sweetness. Quite simple, but nice.

Can showing 8.5%. Opaque beer with a thin beige head. Hefty smell of malt and coffee. Taste is malt, dry coffee, vanilla, some dark chocolate. Rich, earthy, dry stout. A little more sweetness would have made it a bit of a guzzler so perhaps it's best it doesn't have it!

Tap@Dispensary, Copenhagen (Fierce TTO 09/05/2018 with the Malmö crew) - black pour with a tan head. Roasted and sweet malty with prominent coffee roasty notes, some chocolate, caramel, medium body, charred burnt malty notes, dark roasted finish.

At a tasting, small quickly disappearing bubbly fizzy head, opaque extremly dark brown color,aroma of coffee beans, vanila and some spice, quite sweet coffee spicy flavor with some green notes and vanila in the back. Mellow and extremely enjoyable..
