Slightly spicy with coriander, orange peel sweet and bitter makes this beer excellent as an aperitif cool and refreshing. The low alcohol content makes Silk a faithful companion for long days of celebration.

Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. Slightly unclear body, yellowish pale golden, and with a small, white head. Very soapy aroma, loads of orange peel, a good dash of coriander and some pale malts. The flavor follows up, the coriander at very high levels. Orange peel and pale malts too. Some bitterness. Medium body, a bit low on carbonation. Medium lenght finish with coriander dominating. Overall, nice, but too focused on coriander. 110219

Bottle 50 cl. RBESG Rome 2010. Courtesy of cgarvieuk. Pours a hazy yellow with a dense and lacing white head. Rather perfumy nose, quite some coriander. Rather light-bodied, dry and fruity and again lots of soapy coriander accents. Finishes dry. 040610

4th June 2010. Bottle. Cloudy pale gold beer. Light very dry palate. Light dry malt and then some lovely lime/lemon citrus, really spot on. A tasty beer but I’m sick of this obession with brewing bone dry beers that suck all the moisture out of yer gob!
