Huge thanks to Erzengel for sharing! Bottle looks good. Beer in the glass deep black, small head. Heavy malty vanilla aroma. Starts not as strong as exspected, but still heavy malty, earthy, stouty. A lot of vanilla. Light sweetish background. Finish is well balanced, warming malty. Great beer!

From the bottle. Dark brown to black with a creamy, tan head that lingers. The cellar is a bit cold so this one came up cooler than I would have liked, but that aroma is still quite pronounced: amaretto, almonds and vanilla. The taste is dominated by the almonds, or rather the marzipan, and goes down sweet, full of rich, nutty flavor accompanied by cherry and a bit of vanilla. Body is medium, carbonation is mild. Nice!

Bottled 330ml. -from Die Bierothek Bamberg. Black coloured, medium sized brownish head, marzipan and light chocolate in the nose. Light roasted malt, pretty strong marzipan, chocolate, light notes of almond and vanilla with noticable alcohol but all of that almost semi artificial.
