Just like in 2018, all the participating local breweries joined forces again to come up with a particular beer for Budapest Beer Week. This year they are jumping on the haze craze, but with some local twist: the BPBW 2019 Tart NEIPA is rocking at 6.5% with serious amounts of local peach and sea buckthorn purée added into the mix. Double dry hopped with Loral, El Dorado, Wai-iti and Mandarina Bavaria - representing both the world’s most famous hop growing regions and the diversity of this year's lineup - and fermented with LalBrew New England yeast, this brew is a symphony for the upcoming Budapest Summer vibes. Catch it till you can and #nevergofullcraft !

Tap. Hazy orangeish pour, white head. Nose is slightly tart, more prominently sweet fruity. Tastewise it’s sweet upfront but som pleasant, tart fruity notes almost immediately appear. Closes with moderate bitterness, has light, creamy body and soft carbonation. Pleasant NEIPA, and the sea buckthorn was a nice touch.

330ml can, thanks to Dobi! Pours a hazy golden orange, small off-white head. Aroma bears vibrant orangey fruits, papaya, peach, marmalade, bittersweet character overall. Decent juicy haze that packs a punch.

0.33l can. Hazy orange body with a thin white head. Aroma of peach, yoghurt, gooseberry, sugar syrup and some mango. Taste of peach, lemon juice, pineapples and ooseberry. A bit tart indeed. A little too flat for me, but still a good summer beer.
