Sam from Boxcar headed up to Leeds in March for a double brew day here at North. We brewed two beers using the same malt profile: One was soured and had two tonnes (!) of blueberries and white peach added to it. One was dry hopped in the same style that we brew our IPAs. We then blended the two beers together to come up with this lip puckering Sour IPA. It's fruity, jammy, with a hoppy finish (and the colour's not bad too...).

Sample at Haandfest 2019. Unclear pink body with a big white head. Aroma has blueberries, some fruit in general and some lactic/yogurt. Flavor is a bit sweet and fruity with distinct blueberries, malt, dry fruit, hint of vanilla, medium bitter and strange enough I feel the alcohol is rather present even at only 6% ABV. Kinda nice fruity beer, but not very complex and slightly unbalanced.

Packaged 040419. Lightly tart, pretty sweet. Lots of peach in smell and taste, blueberries mostly in the sweet. Bit of an odd combination, but it almost works. Tons of flavour, very juicy. My kind of beer, but it's no Triple Fruited Gose yet!

Keg at The Merchant, Canary Wharf, 27/06/19. Murky raspberry red with a decent crimson covering. Nose carries mellow berry fruits, raspberry jam, ripe fruit esters, citric tinged straw. Taste comprises mixed berry yoghurt, grass, lemon rind, tangy blueberries, peach. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close a tangy fruited edge. Ok.

Keg at the merchant Canary wharf. A milky plum red cherry coloured pour with lasting small pink head. Aroma is big blueberry, blackberry, yougurty funk, massive mixed berries. Flavour is composed of tart red berries, tangy cherry, raspberry, milky wheat, fruit corner. Palate is tangy, pithy, highish prickly carbonation. Good fruit character.
