It’s brewed with a complex grain bill which includes barley, wheat, oats, rye, spelt and buckwheat, kettle soured with Lactobacillus Plantarum and fermented with wine yeast. Boom.
Vinous is a super refreshing red grape sour with aromatic, crisp berry and wine notes, bracing minerality and balanced acidity.
Try it together with *crisps, *doughnuts, *cheese or a steak*

Close to a light red wine nose - grapes, wood, a bit earthy - but also slightly tangy spice from the malt bill. Dominated by the lactic character though, the flavourful malts are a bit subdued and fade. Shame! Light sweetness, quite tart.

0.33 l can from Beerlovers, Vienna. Shared with lovely Anja. Hazy pinkish orange, diminishing head. Aroma is vinous, yeasty, white wine giving notes of light vanilla, toasty, light phenols, fruit candy. Moderately sour, vinous acidity, good balance. Quite refreshing, some complexity. Slightly too much candy character. High carbonation. Lasting sour finish.

Can from Brenda's Brewtique, Bristol. Deep pink in colour, with a momentary white head. Aroma of white grapes, berries, some sweaty funkiness and a touch of floral hop. Flavour had a lot more grape character, winge gum sweetness and th efinish was semi-tart. A fun drink.

Can at flat Iron danemark Street. A mostly clear bright pink red coloured pour with a fading pink fizz. Aroma is weird hair spray, tart raspberry, some cherry light plastic. Flavour is composed of tart cherry. Raspberry. Cherry jolly rancher, woody tart. Pretty basic stuff. Palate is tart and tangy, spritzy carbonation. Ok.

Can picked at up at Westhill Service Station. It pours clear cherry red with a small, foamy white head. The aroma is grape must on the fore, juniper berry, sweaty, funky, wet hay and some floral accents. The taste is crisp, dry, tart, grape skin, mustyred fruits, light cranberry, touch sherbet, grapetiser a bit lactic with dry finish. Light to medium body and fine carbonation. Easy going sour.

Keg at the Waterloo Tap, 08/02/19. Light pinkish red with a faded crimson cap. Nose is pissy, lemon rind, red grape must, hay bale. Taste comprises citric sherbets, red berry skins, tarte berry fruits, vinous twang, lemon rind, trace of funk. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a modest puckering climax. Ok sour ... fairly easy drinking.
